began preparing individual income-tax returns in 1987. Two years later, I was preparing in excess of one hundred returns a season, including individuals, single proprietorships and S Corporations. Shortly thereafter, I added bookkeeping and quarterly returns to my service offerings. I became an Enrolled Agent in 2009, and a Fellow of the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) in August 2015. As requests for ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) began to increase, I decided to become a Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA) in 2019. This new license enables me not only to assist ITIN applicants with their applications (W-7) but also certify the authenticity of their original documents (e.g., passport) so that they will not have to part with their indispensable documents for an extended period (several weeks) of time. I am a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA – https://naea.org/ ) and the Florida Society of Enrolled Agents (FSEA).
